Fantastic shot the clouds are amazing in this and really set the clock tower off well. I visited Finland with my daughter and her husband in February 2011and I loved it, the snow was so beautiful, but bit scary too, and I did some snow shoe walking in the forest and dog sledging which was the most amazing activity ever! We stayed in a ski resort near Kuusamo they did skiing, it's not for me though, not even the flat form!
Wonderful light and color, Susale! Your title reminded me of a TV show here called Storybrooke where the fairy tale characters somehow end up kicked out of their fairy tale world and live in some kind of weird suburbia (have only seen parts of it). They have a clock tower that is somehow very significant in the show as they keep panning to it. Yours is much more bright and cheerful!
@nanderson Thank you Nancy so much for the fav, it´s pretty dramatic isin´t it, it actually was like this when I saw it, I just enchanced the effect a bit.
@paula1 Thank you Paula, always nice to hear you like my pics
@denidouble Thank you Deni, your visit here in Finland sounds great, they have all those activities in north Finland but here in the south it´s different, no sledging. The skiing is not for me either, I can´t do it at all :D
@janim Thank you Jani so much for the fav, you´ve been very genenours with the favs lately, you are totally spoiling me you know, or are you just favulating ;-) I actually thought you would not like this cos the tower is not straight but maybe you just left that out of your comment...I miss your critic.
@sgiesman Thank you Sarah, yes my thoughts excatly, this looks a bit surreal to me too
@jodimuli Thank you Joey, it´s a clock eating evil clound ;-)
@taffy Thank you Taffy, the title totally refers to that show. Those massive clouds reminded me of those huge clouds of magic that covered everything under them on Storybrooke, that´s why the title. Oh I love that show, but then again I tend to like all things magical
@tristansmum thank you Stephanie, there´s actually very little processing done here, I only enchanced the clounds and contrast a bit
@jacjacs68 Thank you Jackie, I was pretty lucky to capture the clock tower against these massive clouds, it has this weird feel about it, it´s like those clouds were just about the devour the clock tower
@walia Thank you Walia, those clouds were the thing that draw me to taking this pic
@pflaume Thank you Lisa, those fluffy clouds were so generous, I should have taken more pics of this
@joydnichols Thank you Jodi, so nice of you to say so
@eyesmile Thank you Gena very much for the fav and for such a great comment, those clounds are very intriguing being so fluffy and so low
@susale I don't mind the slight crookedness in this case, feels natural from this angle. Keep posting good stuff and I will favulate :) I will give critique too, if I have something constructive in my mind, so don't worry...
Great shot!! Love the composition and that beautiful sky. I love that tv show and the clock reminds me of the one on the show- very cool! FAV for me too :)
@tillycarter Thank you so much Krista, always a pleasure. reallt appreciate the fav. I love Storybrooke too. I could have guessed you liked this show too, your work is so magically beautiful!
@happysnap Thank you Linda, I wanted to make that contrast very strong to add some drama, to me it looks like those clouds would be all ready to devour that tower
@paula1 Thank you Paula, always nice to hear you like my pics
@ziggy77 Thank you Jo
