I had such a wonderful day that I simply have to do a diary upload. My dear sis and dear friends had planned a great relaxing day for me startting with this wellness Spa & aroma therapy and after that just relaxing time together with good food & wine and sauna etc, I´m so lucky to have such wonderful friends and such sweet sister.
After sauna we had this girly fun doing braids to each other, here is my sis getting her hair done. I had to blur the pics cos of my models and I´m not at all sure does it even work at all, also I couldn´t decide between the b&w and the colours, I prefer the warm colours but I think the blur goes better with the b&w so I uploaded the b&w version as well so maybe you could tell me your opinion. Thank you so much for all the comments and favs for my silly selfie, they are very much appreaciated cos it was not a very easy upload for me. I promise I will do a more serious selfie at some point. Now I´m off to see what you all have been up to, I got some catching up to do.
Hi Suse! I'm your get-pushed partner this week. Your photos are beautiful, what an eye you have for composition,,, and such softness! :) My challenge for you this week is to explore gritty and candid, maybe black and white street shots. Sound interesting?
@jonfrank Thank you Jon, no I don´t have lensbaby, I did this with postprocessing. I didn´t really took this for the project but I wanted to use this so I had to make it work with blurriness cos my models wouldn´t agree to this upload otherwise
Love the shot, love the soft focus as it gives the feel of a timeless activity between women be they friends, moms, daughters, sisters... I prefer this one of the two.
Kivaa siis oli, hyvä hyvä! :) Tykkään väreistä enempi, tuo enemmän sitä iloista tunnelmaa esiin. Jos susta tuntuu että b&w toimii paremmin blurrin kanssa, niin koitas tästä vaan tehdä sävyjä hiukan neutraalimmiksi eli kylmentää ja hiukka desaturaatiota. Voi olla että löytyy sellanen toimiva värillinenkin versio sitä kautta...
@janim Kiitos Jani, joo totta sävyjä vois säädellä, hyvä idis ja vois hyvin toimii -kiitti, tarttee testailla omiin kuviin, luulen et niistä hiuskuvista vois viel muutaman tänne projektii repästä, ku kerran alkuun päästiin ;) Ja joo tunnelmaahan tässä on huisisti enemmän ja lämpöä, mutta jotenkin vaan on liikaa/ liian vähän blurrii tai jotain, paras tietty olis jos olis pystynyt laittaa alkuperäsenä ilman kikkailuja mutta koitapa ehdottaa sitä kahelle saunan jälkeen täysin naturellille naiselle ;D

Sounds like you are having a great time. Is it your b'day? I like the blur and the colour version gets my vote. Aah no, Suse, you have done it again - changed your avatar - got to get used to it all over again ;-) you like to keep us on our toes with names and avatars don't you.

Hyvää syntymäpäivää Sounds like a great time! I so miss sauna - our family cottage was sold a few years ago and we haven't had time to build a proper sauna on our new cottage land. One day! ;)
@kass Kiitos Kass :) Yes I believe I would miss sauna very much too if I would to move away from Finland, there´s something very spiritual and renewal about sauna and as a Finn, it´s really in my blood. I´m sure your build a great sauna one day.
