My get-pushed-challenge this week by @northy was purposefully draw from the tarot as inspiration for an image and a story.
Judgment card drawn here but no specific story. Sure I was thinking something while creating this image. It´s safe to say that I was influenced by this movie I saw a while ago called Would you rather. A sick and disturbing movie I got offered when I asked for psychological thriller - I clearly have to be more specific the next time! I couldn´t stop watching it, I just had to see it through even though I was not enjoying it at all. I was really really hoping at the end those bad persons would get what they´d deserve and I was really disappointed when they were not. Well I guess it´s like that in real life too, the bad persons sometimes get away with it.
Well back to the pic: it´s a paper cutter and a rose and it looks like the rose is about to be cut. Why a rose? What did this poor rose ever did to me? Well why not a rose and maybe this poor rose just happed to be in a wrong place at the wrong time, available and at the sight...or maybe I just asked myself would I rather use a rose or a Barbie doll to create this image......
i am glad you explained, i couldn/t make it out at all, i think watching violent movies for entertainment is not a good use of our time and consciousness.
Very cool. I would not have ever figured out what I was looking at, oddly. Once I saw the explanation, it was totally obvious. Trick on the eyes, again. well done.
