Greenan Shore, Ayr, Scotland

With a storm brewing I took a walk along the shore especially to capture this ruined castle...the lighting was not good sp I decided to tonemap the image and turn it into an HDR...it was also edited in Photoshop to improve the lighting and colours...

nicely composed shot. Great subject. Not sure where the sun would rise or set, but if it does on that horizon, then the shafts of light breaking over the mountains whould give this shot that wow factor. Try and go back there if you can at such a time :-)
