Fishguard in Pembrokeshire is a ferry port where you can catch a ferry to Ireland but there's also a very picturesque harbour in the old part of the town. It would have been a busy fishing port in years gone by but now many of the houses are holiday cottages and there are more pleasure boats than fishing boats.
