After a day of sunshine and clear blue skies yesterday, when the sun had set there was a beautiful new moon. The moon was low in the sky when I took the picture and this was a hand held shot so it's not as sharp as it could be. I was pleased I'd noticed the moon though and quickly took the shot. It was extremely cold outside so I didn't hang about.
