For my brother Mick. Rest in Peace

My brother died this afternoon. He was 73. He was taken into hospital on the 1st April with what appeared to be a very severe throat infection. In fact in was throat cancer. It's been a very difficult two months but he's at peace now.

I love this photo, it's the two of us with our grandma on Blackpool beach, taken a very long time ago.

It means such a lot. I have a lot of very happy memories. I haven’t been able to visit either my brother or my sister in law because of the wretched coronavirus but we were all together at a cousin’s reunion back in November when everyone was well and we had a really lovely time together. That was the last time I saw Mick but it was a happy time.
