We don't go far these days and when we do go anywhere we prefer to be outside. It's Chris' birthday today so we went to Westonbury Mill Water Gardens just a fifteen minute drive from home. It was very, very lovely and very quiet, hardly anyone else there. Fortunately the little cafe was open serving hot drinks, cakes and snacks to eat at tables outside. It was dull as we warked round the gardens but by the time we had our coffee and cake the sun had come out and it was warm. This was the first time we'd been out for coffee and cake since early March. It was wonderful.
