The new food processor which I bought and posted earlier this month was to replace the one I'd had for 33 years and which finally packed up. I have never had a cake mixer and I've always wanted one so I splashed out and bought one. It arrived this week and this is the first cake I've made with it, georgously sticky lemon drizzle. The mixer is wonderful and I wish I'd bought one years ago when I was running my B&B and baking lots of cakes. Still, it's never too late and I know I'm going to enjoy using it. Retirement and lockdown are wonderful excuses for buying things like this.
Makes life easier! Just looking at your kitchen cupboards, I like that they are plain with no ledges to catch any dirt. I love the shaker style but am going for smooth modern this time like yours!
