These little autumn cyclamen were completely overgrown by a large hosta. We didn't know they were there until Chris did some clearing ready for winter.
I'm delighted to keep finding flowers to photograph in the garden (although they all seem to be pink) because I am finding it difficult to photograph anything else at the moment. It seems to be flowers or food. Unfortunately my friend and I had to cancel our walk this week because of the weather so no photo opportunities there.
The Autumn cyclamen are so pretty -love their patterned leaves !- and it is good to find something in the garden to take photos - my mojo is so low at the moment and like you just looking round the garden in the hope of finding something else to shoot ! -- Amazing -- it is the "pink" season in my garden too !!
These little cyclamen seem to pop up from nowhere! I have a habit of sticking the past it plant outside when it’s finished flowering & a few weeks later there it is again throwing out buds!
@beryl It is difficult to find something different to photograph when, like you Beryl, I don't go very far. I find the winter months difficult even in normal times.
@happypat Yes it's wonderful when that happens isn't it. We planted a pack of 6 from Aldi about 3 years ago and I'm sure they're weren't really meant to last more than one season. Perhaps this one survived because it was sheltered by the hosta.
@carole_sandford Thank you Carole. Yes, the winter months can be a bit of a challenge at the best of times but this year it's going to be worse with none of us going very far.
