It was a beautiful day so I decided to go for a walk. I intended to walk down this lane to the river Wye but I met the river coming towards me before I’d gone very far. I tried walking through the water in an attempt to continue along the lane but it soon came to the top of my wellies. I took an alternative route across a field but again I didn’t get far because everywhere was flooded. Nevertheless I enjoyed being out in the fresh air.
