Today I did a 6 mile walk with my friend Nicola, around the Usk Reservoir in the Brecon Beacons. It isn't the most natural scenery with it's man-made reservoir and conifer plantations but it was a perfect winter's day, very still, very frosty, very sunny and with the most amazing blue sky. It was a relatively easy walk with not many hills, good for those of us with dodgy knees. We had a lovely day.
