Storm Franklin Survivors

Despite all the wind and rain the daffodils are flowering. I ventured out into the garden today, it wasn’t raining but it was very windy. I took quite a lot of photos of the daffodils but they were being blown about so much that most of them were blurred. I was happy with this one.
It's amazing how plants and flowers hold up to the wind - beautiful

@365projectorgheatherb Thank you Heather, i spent quite a long time trying to achieve that effect. These daffodils are in a wooden half barrel against the red brick wall of the house and it wasn’t easy avoiding the wood and the red bricks 😂.

@carole_sandford It’s happened all of a sudden, Carole, during the stormy weather in fact. They would have been better waiting a few days.

You've certainly been getting some rough weather. I'm surprised that the daffs haven't been battered too.
