I've never seen anything like this before. It appears to be a spider because if you look closely it has 8 legs. It was in the same bit of garden, a wild flower patch, where I saw the ladybirds yesterday. It is encouraging to see all this wildlife.
Is that really 8 legs though? Or just 6 legs with two of them bifurcated? I’d go poking around the net to try to identify it but I promised myself not to go down any goggle paths till I finish doing my taxes.
@koalagardens Yes KG it definitely has 8 legs which is why I said it was a spider. I’m afraid I didn’t get close enough to count it’s eyes 😂. Michelle @bigmxx has identified it - a nursery web spider. Apparently they’re very common but I’ve never seen one before.
@susiemc I do it on my PC by hovering over the image I want to search, click the right hand button to bring the menu up and then click 'search image with google' (it's near the bottom of the list)
