There was just one great egret at Lodmore rspb reserve when we were there and we ended up following it around. It never went far, just far enough to keep us on the move.
Well done on seeing this one. It would not surprise me if CATTLE egrets are the next big incomers. Already up to 10 at one time have been spotted in S. Devon.
