He was very cooperative this morning and allowed me to take quite a few pictures. The bird feeders are just outside the dining room window so I have to stand well back and keep very still when I'm photographing a woodpecker. The other birds aren't so bothered by us.
Lovely capture. Their eyesight is quite superb. The one we Have visit will fly off at the slightest movement in the house; I have to move very very slowly to get where I can photograph him.
