Gary is not too keen when I do a spot of faffing about with the photos. He say what's the point of taking a photo of a square and making it into a circle. I do think he has a point, but I can see I will be doing much more faffing now winter is coming and photo opportunities are fewer.
Anyway, meet Chumley, next doors tabby cat who has had a major makeover whilst I've been getting to grips with layer masking.
Thank you all so much for your lovely comments, you are all too kind and I really appreciate you taking the time to visit.
I had to really study this but I have it figured out! Very creative and good for you for trying something different. Pushing the envelope. Very unique and fun to learn about - I did watch the video you suggested. Anxious to see more of this type of work.
@gardenfolk My mother used to often say "you do faff about Suzanne" when I spent lots of time messing about with things (usually with little effect) It seems the perfect word to describe my efforts to prettify my photos :) Chumley is in profile here, perhaps more obvious if viewed on black....or perhaps not :))
Finally got it!! I was trying to work out how the right hand side was a cat..... now I have found the cat, it is obvious, of course! 😀 I have no idea what masking or layering is either!
For one it is fun, and then it is creative, and why not? It all depends why you take photographs - if you want to create beautiful images then sometimes faffing around is needed. Excellent work here and it is good to make people think a bit with your photo.
@taffy@fbailey@365karly1 Thank you very much @gardenfolk Thank you, Thinking about it, if you are using a phone it could be difficult to see, especially in bright light.
@suzanne234 It is easy to see now! I love and faved it! I think I was too tired to comprehend and I was backward...I kept looking at the right side trying to figure out the lines, not the left side! What is faffing???
wow, this is awesome.... it took my eyes ages to see the cat, kept seeing the surrounding, then it all became clear and I can't see what I was seeing before!
@suzanne234 looks like @gardenfolk cc folk’s brain was doing the same as mine looking from right to left not left to right !
Beautiful once our brains get around it
Beautiful done. Fav.
