Ah Whitby. When I was a young girl we used to go there every summer for our holidays. I have never been back as I didn't want to spoil my memories, but people tell me it has not changed much, so I think I will revisit sometime. I love this shot - it evokes memories and smells!
@suesouthwood Ah, you should go Sue, I'm sure some things have changed slightly, but it still has its lovely old world charm, I thought is was a delight and wished we had booked to stay the night.
It is always so interesting to wonder around a seaside town where the fishermen still come and go. I like to see the lobster pots. Nicely framed to see the boats and the houses behind.
