I've snuck this one in for the 52 portraits of me challenge, for the theme of pain.
Huge apologies for my recent absence, I'm still waiting for the phojo to return....what if it doesn't? I fear its legged it for good. Fear also happens to be next weeks portrait theme.
Another creative shot! This shows extreme pain:(
Something you might try in regards to your absent phojo is to look back over your photos. You've made so many wonderful images I think it might be encouraging to remind yourself of the fun you've had being a photographer....and it's also very ok to take a bit of a break. It's sometimes a necessity to sit back and just smell the roses without a camera in front of your face:)
This fits the theme well. Phojos are funny things, they disappear without a trace and then suddenly come back all on their own. Hope your returns soon, miss your pics!
Wise words from @365karly1 . Maybe one of the themes will grab you one day and you will be back on track effortlessly. In the meanwhile, this is such a good portrayal of pain Suzanne, it is hard to imagine that your phojo has got up and gone. Well done!
The photo says it all! Creative and tells a story! Remember, you can always fake it, till you make it! Just go looking...you will find your phojo. It might be just around the corner. :)
Wow such a powerful image. your phojo will return, we all have slumps in our projects. What I do sometimes is look at the photos I have put as my favourites and see if they give me some inspiration for a shot.
This one is so real to life - to me it immediately conjured images of the horrors of domestic violence. It could have been equally been used for the "fear" theme. Such a strong, emotional image.
If you promise to keep going I'll tell you where the boat is ;-) My phojo keeps coming and going. Hopefully, with Halloween just beginning it's found its way back to me. Hope yours returns too. Nice image for your challenge.
I have found it's hard to keep going every day. I think it's OK to post when you feel like it without that every day pressure. Having said that, I think you have produced some amazing photos. I am sure your phojo is still there somewhere
Keep going - it’s worth it but I know what you mean. Mine goes when I don’t have time and then get frustrated with myself. Perhaps just think of October as a ‘new’ start? Fab photo so many feelings. Fav!
