Greenleaf by swguevin

Greenleaf

photo 191
The heat. The storms. The crazy weather. And here in the hot of summer I find what looks like fall leaves strewn along the path.

Not a single "greenleaf" among them.

So well captured. I was taking photos of the dry, fall-like leaves in our yard yesterday, too. I keep thinking of Johny Cash's song, "I Still Miss Someone," which starts "At my door, the leaves are falling...."

Awesome perspective, pureness and thoughtful words. Perhaps we should ask Mr. Al Gore, where does it come from?

Found this on PP...such sad and emotional words set with you photo and the use of the word 'greenleaf......just too lovely. Fave for me! How mad is it that you are suffering the intolerable heat and here in UK we are having the worst rainfall on record!

Lovely image - very nice dof. I've got the same going on with our birches in the back. May have to rake before I mow if the grass ever starts growing again.
