Another of my young seagull friends. He is a very forthright and outspoken gull and will never leave you any doubt about his particular view point on any subject.
Digby is planning on following in his fathers webbed footsteps and make a living as a chip thief. This is a very respectable occupation if you are a seagull.
He has been studying hard at college in Fowey and has qualified as a master swooper and snatcher. He has also received a distinction in begging, looking very cute and appearing hungry.
I think he will do very well in his chosen profession.
I would recommend taking begging out of the curriculum if the goal is a degree in chip thievery. Once a student begins asking for chips, and finds out how easy it is for a cute gull to receive them, I'm afraid their skills at swooping and snatching eventually suffer a marked decline. Catch this while they are young, I say! Still, Digby does look like a good candidate for master thief.
That stance says no messin'. The Met are looking into a spate of chip thefts in this 'ere London - a ruthless gull gang is suspected of muscling in on the manky-legged pigeon mafia ....
