Helston by swillinbillyflynn

Helston

An old Cornish town that feels like stepping pack into the 1940's. Hardly any of the big chain stores have bothered to venture this far west, no Costas, No M&S, no TK Maxx, No Primark, no McDonalds. However, there are lots of small and interesting independent traders still thriving here.

It really is the land that time forgot. It's like the sort of idyllic vision of Britain the Berxiteers thought they were voting for........ but will never see....... unless they move to Helston of course.

So much history and a really amazing museum. Well worth a visit.
Sounds a great place to be. A very nice image too.
