Lowtide by swillinbillyflynn

Lowtide

Lots of fishing boats in Mevagissey inner harbour at low tide.

Had a good time gigging with the Pirates of St. Piran at the Polgooth Inn yesterday, although playing outdoors with a chilly breeze blowing straight in your face isn't a lot of fun. My fingers were cold white and numb by the end of the gig and I was playing by memory as I couldn't feel the fretboard with then. I'm surprised I don't have frostbite in them this morning. Oh well we did manage to raise about £200 for the local children's hospice which makes it all worth while.
The symmetry on this shot is so very eye catching.

As I remember that corner of the harbour used to stink something rotten at low tide. Great image though.
