I'm not really a pink and fluffy sort of bloke....... neither am I any great shakes as a horticulturalist or a botanist.... So I have no idea what this is. I just sort of liked it despite it's pink fluffiness.
Maybe I'm going soft in my old age. Perhaps you may see a picture of me wearing a pink tricorn at some stage, but I seriously doubt it.
Funnily enough. we were performing as part of the Plymouth Pirate festival yesterday and there were a great many people in very authentic looking pirate costumes (some almost as good as ours). However there was one young lady who had decided that white fishnet tights and a pink crushed velvet mini dress was authentic pirate kit. This ensemble was topped off with a pink tricorn complete with astrakhan trim. She was the living embodiment of pink fluffiness.
She did actually look rather cute........ but don't let the crew know I said that. I wouldn't want them thinking that the Captain was a whoopsie. :)
It is an ornamental cherry tree, called a Kwanzan cherry, Billy :) And they are very pink and fluffy, then they make a fantastically messy pink blizzard of petals! Lol Very nice capture against the blue sky and the equally fluffy clouds!
