Another shot from my Konica FC-1 35mm film camera for the analogapril-15 Challenge.
The vintage 35mm film camera collection is growing fast. Bought a another Zenit. (an EM this time) in a charity shop in Falmouth. I have also just taken delivery of a Chinon CE-5 I ordered from Ebay. The collection has now grown to 14 vintage SLRs. I may need a glass display cabinet soon and I can start charging people admission to visit my photographic museum. :)
I am amazed that all of these vintage cameras are still working perfectly 30-50 years on. I suspect that in 30 years time they will still all be working and my Canon EOS 650D DSLR will be a long dead and distant memory. That's progress for you.
**** Please note **** I am still calling it a vintage camera collection rather than an obsession. I have convinced myself that anything less than 20 is a legitimate collection. However these numbers may be subject to further rationalisation without prior notice. :)
Collection\obsession? Aren't they really the same thing at the end of the day.
