Two things spring to mind here. Given that only pasties actually made in Cornwall can legally be called Cornish Pasties...... So calling them "the world's best" doesn't mean a lot....... A bit like American baseball being called "The World Series" when only American teams compete.
The other thing is that they are the official world's best Cornish Pasties....... This suggests that there may be other unofficial pasties that might be even better. In fact I would go as far as to say that the pasties my mate Trace makes are miles better than these and are therefore probably the world's best pasties...... but that's not official. :)
@sgtpepper@kassidypup Me? Awkward? I don't know what you mean..... stubborn, cantankerous, argumentative, stroppy, belligerent maybe.... but never awkward. :)
Ummmm....I hate to disappoint their patrons, but it says the worlds best Cornish 'pasty,' not 'pasties,' and I'm willing to bet someone else has already bought and eaten that pasty (it being best when fresh) -- leaving the title open again!
