Well actually this is Jetty street and is one the main roads that runs from the harbour out onto Fore Street.
Most of the roads in Mevagissey are like this and it's all single file traffic, even the main roads in and out of the village. This doesn't make life easy particularly in the height of the tourist season when these streets are full of visitors milling about and bringing the entire village to a standstill.
The tourists always complain and suggest that all traffic should be banned and the entire village should be made a pedestrianized area. They don't seem to realise that some people actually live here and have businesses to run.
