In the 18th century the clergy were at the heart of the Cornish smuggling industry as the church crypt was the ideal distribution centre for contraband goods..... Suffice it to say the Reverend Eddie never ran out of communion wine.....
Some would say more pirate than preacher, but he certainly sang his heart out for the Pirates of St. Piran today at the Plymouth pirate weekend.... and it wasn't no hymns we was singin' neither.
