Yes folks, this is my final 365 pic. The time has come to move on to bigger and better things! After the eating disorder thread fiasco, I have decided that this is no longer the place for me to cast my pearls of wisdom OR my photographs. As lovely as people's comments have been, I am now raising the bar and looking for more constructive criticism of my work. Don't get me wrong, I have loved every minute of the adulation that you have heaped on me, some days I even needed it, but for me, the game has changed. Also, I really miss the things I used to do before 365 - like reading and paying more attention to eating heathily! It has been a wonderful journey and I'm ever so grateful to Ross for creating this thing and to each and every one of you who ever looked, commented, faved and got my pics on the PP and even one in the top 20. What a thrill that was!
Now, I will be focussing on my studies, local, national and international photographic competitions and on preparing a series of photographs for an exhibition of my own in a local gallery later this year. Yes, now the serious work begins!
So, I'll leave you with my vacated seat on this fine project and these two little gems:
1. My fav fav of all the 1000-odd in my collection of 365 favs. You all have produced SOOO many great piccis, but Shelly's Burd x3 fits my mood best for today!

2. A song that is my prayer for planet Earth...that humanity stops ruling this beautiful rock in ignorance and in fear and begins a Reign of Love
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OVgRkZikIP4
Why don't you open up both links in separate browsers or tabs and listen to the song in it's enntirety while pondering the freedom that most of us don't even realise that we have? Take 2 minutes and 48 seconds out of your day to contemplate how you are going to help kill ignorance and fear nurture our reign of love...because if YOU don't do it, then who will??? ...also because you deserve a peaceful little break, don't you?
For the record,
Every human gets EXACTLY what they want, no matter how much we bitch and moan about what we've asked for and received from the Universe. In the words of the immortal Garth Brooks
Some of God's greatest gifts are all too often unanswered...
Some of God's greatest gifts are unanswered prayers
Sometimes we want things on a soul level that our busy minds/egos don't understand. The power of meditation canNOT be underestimated...go in peace, my friends :-)
