crowning jewel

This is Melbourne's Crown Casino. That's all...

Yesterday, my friend Sara and I did The Great Pursuit, which involved running madly around the city for 3 hours straight finding places and information. I'm pleased to say that we completed every element of the race and got back to Fed Square on time without any time penalty. Today my legs are sore. I feel like I've had a hard-core session at the gym...
'tis a hilly city for running around. Not big hills, but not much flat stuff to be found.

@bobfoto @deburahiru Why yessum! We did jump on a few trams, which was allowed, but we were racing the clocks, so there was more running than walking!

@kazzamazoo Haha yes! After asking several trams full of people in a very loud voice "Does anyone on this tram speak Greek?" an old lady finally helped us. The translation was "Where is the bus?" lol
How was lunch with the Gloucesterites?

Nice pic of the shot tower at Melb. Central! I love the trams too, as I am from Sydney where there are no trams, so in Melb, they were always a novelty for me! I used to love my apartment opposite Melb Uni where I would lay in bed at night, and listen to the trams rumbling their way along the street! :-)
