I joined a Chicago area "meetup" with Daniel (@danielwsc) and Annette ( @anwan) at the Harry 'Bus' Yourell Aeration Station, with about 20 other photographers. It was an opportunity to practice steel wool painting without worrying that I would catch myself and everything around me on fire. What I hadn't expected was the beauty of the area with the collection pools, water fowl, flowing water, bridge, along with the steel wool painting. Deciding on a single shot is impossible, so I'm treating it as several separate 'events.' This week will be 'Areation Station week' in addition to my get-pushed challenge. I chose this photo to post first because it conveys the area. About 40 minutes outside Chicago, it's a lovely world in the midst of some fairly nondescript suburbs (I grew up in one of them so am not critiquing as an outsider!).
@gerry Thank you so much for the fav! I've been looking at and commenting on photos instead of doing individual thank you's at the moment, but noticed you hadn't posted lately -- you really are taking some time off!
