Taken on Thursday on the trip to Lake Geneva, at the same sight as the Tree on the Lake. I loved the textures formed by the peeling paint and the lines of the pilings. Winter is definitely coming!

This is such a beautiful shot, Taffy. Thank you for stopping by my project and commenting. I do not post a photo a day and commenting happens as I have time. I get back to as many people as I can but it is hard to do so as those I follow and follow me has grown. WIsh I had a lot more time. Photography has been a lifesaver for me. Got me out of a rut finding 365. What a fun place and community.

@taffy Those that stick with you or pop in when they can are the people that I keep in contact with the most. I have some that I go to and check out their photos as I love them so much. You are welcome. Your photos are awesome. I do not get out but to our park and neighbors yards and an occasional trip to visit my Mom in the San Francisco area. My son put a lot of work into the finale of my first year. If you ever have 24 minutes to spare, please check it out, it is the last thing on year one. Nothing that fantastic but the photos that I took for my first year.

I thought ti was so interesting to see this one as there were about 4 piers, but the others had all had the planks already pulled up for replacement (I assume) and were blocked from access. I felt so lucky to get to go out on this one before they closed it down as well. It clearly needs repair!
