Up early for work, easily done because I'm simply staying on Chicago time, sleeping in til 10:00 a.m., but that's only 6:00 a.m. here (except by 9:00 at night I'm exhausted!). My reward -- amazing sunrise today! Started very gray and then suddenly the sun popped through the clouds and everything turned orange, red, and yellow.
After our morning of work, we played golf -- we had a rainbow over us for almost half the time we played (in extras album- http://365project.org/taffy/special-photos/2013-12-19). What an area!
Thank you for staying with me despite my lack of commenting. I'm reading your comments and appreciating your support. Work is mostly over and I'm moving into total vacation mode -- looking forward to viewing your photos, commenting, and catching up!
This is like a postcard! Wonderful capture. The colors in the sky and silhouettes are amazing. So happy for you that you get to enjoy this beauty - happy for us that we get to see your great shots!
One of the nicest gifts of Aloha to tourists arriving from the east is the time change that gets them up for sunrises! You got a magnificent one here! Your foreground is absolutely and purely Hawaiian...no mistaking it!
Ps .. nice to see Danbo back again
