Thank you for your wonderful response to my moody tree shot yesterday! It was on trending and then today showed up on PP! Thank you!!
For today's posting, I've never done the album cover challenge before and it was fun (even though when I finally was happy with what I had done, I realized it was a rectangle rather than a square and had to start over!). But I recommend it, especially for a day like today that was uninspiring in terms of photos. The base for the album cover were some tiny purple flowers in a bouquet Jim had brought home earlier this week. I actually took photos of the flowers for the camera setting challenge on using your flash for fill light, but they weren't that interesting.
The band's name, Gerard of Cremona, was an Italian translator (c. 1114–1187) of scientific books from Arabic into Latin, working in Toledo Spain. The album name comes from a quote by the American actress, Bette Davis: "To fulfill a dream, to be allowed to sweat over lonely labor, to be given the chance to create, is the meat and potatoes of life. The money is the gravy. As everyone else, I love to dunk my crust in it. But alone, it is not a diet designed to keep body and soul together." From The Lonely Life, 1962.

Oh and thank you so much! I might be a little addicted now! :) Although who knows...next time I might get and article and quote that don't provide such possibilities! We'll see!
Big congrats on the PP! Well done!
Congrats on getting on the trending page.
