For the theme, MFPIAC2, the challenge is to create a collage of 6 photos, this week with the theme of connecting via color. I decided it would be fun to combine some favorite shots from NYC's recent visit and my home town, limiting myself only to photos from Year 2 of the project (Why? Pure laziness as my Year 1 shots are not on this computer). Anyway, this was the result. NY gets the large square but it's surrounded by Chicago.

@michaelelliott -- I thought of you as I worked on this one! I first had 3 and 3 (NYC and Chicago), then thought this way was more fun as a Chicagoan. When you visit here, you'll be able to create one in the opposite direction!
Great result Taffy and why go for older pics if you have these kind of pics easily on your reach. Love how the tones are so harmonious through the whole collage, almost if you would have purposely shot them for this collage
@ruelcalitis We don't have anything formal, but there are several Chicago photographers here: @danielwsc@anwan@jyokota and others. You might think about adding something about yourself in your bio so that others know who you are and can be in touch if we do any photo walks.

We often meet up at one of the organized photo outings of either the Chicagoland Digital Meetup Group or the Camaraderie Meetup Group (both on Meetup.com, free) or we just email Taffy and make up something :) . Daniel and I are probably going to Chiditarod on Saturday if you want to try to find us!

I really enjoy the warm tones and nice diversity of images. My favorite is the 9/11 memorial. After I posted a "Woman at the Well" shot on my February calendar, I remembered the 9/11 memorial image you took, and it made me think of it as a big well, where plentiful water is always flowing from the love offered in honor of those commemorated by the memorial. Unfortunately, the well in my shot was empty: http://365project.org/gratefulness/365/2014-02-04. I like that here the "well" is full of living, flowing water!
