For black & white fortnight - humanity challenge. Taken on our bay late afternoon while bundled under a mosquito net over my head, hoodie underneath it, long pants, socks, shoes, and wearing gloves. Even then, a little bugger bit the back of my hand through the gloves. We are all in awe that the mozzies are still here -- this has never happened in anyone's memory and it's the primary topic of conversation. They should be thinning out and gone next week, but there's no sign that's happening! I was impressed that the kayaker was out there and am hoping to take ours out sometime soon -- maybe the bugs leave humanity alone when out on the lake? It looked so peaceful!
