Or, actually, path from entrance down to Racine-Medical District stop on the Blue Line.
Posting mostly to say thank you for putting two of my shots into TT. My mom will be excited that one of them was from our walk in Garden of the Gods. And I'm thrilled that a b&w architecture shot was selected. It's one I'd worked on for awhile so many many thanks!
Wow, this is so cool. Great shot. It just goes on and on. Love the clouds too. I just read what you wrote to Maggiemae and this goes up, not level like it looks, Taffy?
@darsphotos Yes -- it's the ramp that takes you from street level down to the subway train tracks. At this point on the Blue Line, you're outside, but below street level. Two stops later, you enter underneath the city -- a real subway.
Very nicely done Taffy. Do I see graffiti on the windows? This walk reminds me of one that I had to make an airport one time I thought I would never come to the end.
A very apt title, as there are so many converging verticals and items reducing in size to give this image real depth, plus of course some great processing.
@janiskay The graffiti might be written in soap or something as it doesn't show up well to the naked eye, or even in the individual photos, but it really did pop when I combined the three shots. Thanks for the kind comment!
Wonderful leading lines and perspective in this gritty shot Taffy. Another fabulous image and fav. I really like that emptiness that allows the feeling of the tunnel to dominate.
