Hi all, P3 here...if you want to know how I got into this mess, check out my plight at: http://365project.org/365toygroup/365/2015-04-30
You would have thought my friends would have gotten me out of this mess instead of taking photos of me in this embarrassing state.
Taffy's very last class of her career is tonight and the students are coming here to do their presentations and celebrate, so she turned 365 over to me for today. FUN! Your friend, P3
Oh poor P3 what a day it's been for you! I would be looking very carefully at my friends if I was you! Fancy leaving you like this! I hope someone comes to rescue you soon! Say congratulations to Taffy for me - it sounds like there are changes afoot! Stay safe!
Awww poor thing...A word of advice P3, nothing good comes from sticking your beak into things that are not your concern. Oh and maybe you need to find better friends...just sayin'..... lol
P3 is certainly in a spot of bother! That will teach him that he shouldn't be putting his nose in places it doesn't belong, it can only lead to pain and problems!
@dibzgreasley No career change, but hopefully a more balanced life. Still working 25% next year to see some doc students through, and continuing to work with school reform settings which is work outside my 'day job.' I'm hoping it means time to take a photography class or two and be more thoughtful about learning this craft. Thanks for asking!
@salza Thanks Sally! It was a lovely night -- my colleague dropped off some champagne and the students' presentations were fantastic so it was a wonderful class to end that part of my career with -- it went fast!
Well, this angle is even worse than the other shot! My goodness- so glad it wasn't serious! Last class of your career? Are you retiring already? Well, whatever the reason or cause, congratulations! From what I've seen on here, it was quite rewarding and gave you some fantastic travel opportunities too. So, can we say we knew you when when your second career in photography takes off? (o:
Either P3 is extremely small, or that is one BIG needle!! Poor thing to be stuck like that, and absolutely no help in sight! Congratulations on the transition, Taffy!! A simpler life is definitely something to look forward to!
@olivetreeann I'm retiring late actually! But will continue 25% next year and keep doing the school reform work for two years after. Phasing rather than an abrupt transition. More time for phots and golf, I hope!
@taffy Well that's even better as it sounds like you gave a lot back (and will still be giving for a while longer) which I think is excellent! Best wishes!
@taffy Well that sounds like a good way to do it, gradually. And anything that gives more time to photography is great, although I'm not sure that you need more classes, perhaps you should be giving them!
Congrats on that final class and the opportunities that lay before you now.
