Spring flowers are beautiful, lining many of Chicago's downtown streets.
I'll be on sporadically over the next week or so...massive amount of work to get done tomorrow and Saturday, leaving for a work trip to Greece (yay, even though it's work, as I've never been), suffering from a cold (great timing), have to make major decisions re house as work is happening while I'm gone (paint color, countertop selection, window treatments), feeling like I have totally lost control. Must give up something so will comment when I can, post when I can, and look forward to catching up when I get back. Have a good week all!

Beautiful flowers Taffy! Lovely dof! Shame about the cold when you have this trip to prepare for! So many decisions to be made too! We all understand how busy you are so don't worry about 365 for a while - something has to give! I hope Greece isn't all work and you get a little spare you time! Safe journey - enjoy!

It seems like half the people on my feed are playing catch up or apologizing for going to be getting behind. It's just life right now. Enjoy Greece, it's a marvelous place to visit. Stop in when you can.
@888rachel Thanks Rachel! I'm on my way today...sitting in the airport in Philadelphia at the moment. I should have clarified that the flowers aren't on the side of the road, but that the main boulevard -- Michigan Avenue -- is lined with huge flower beds and pots that are filled with flowers. They change them throughout the spring through fall so that something is always in bloom. But this time of year is particularly beautiful with the really strong colors everywhere.
I remember how pretty florally Chicago was, this gorgeous image brings back memories. Sorry to hear you are poorly, hope it passes quickly and that you get some playtime in Greece. It is on our hit list one day :)
Great colors! Enjoy Greece- it is one of two truly international places I've been! (Canada is attached to the USA so it's hard for me to say it's international! lol) If you are in Athens- don't miss seeing the Parthenon at night. You will get some stellar shots of that!
