Sunset was most unusual last night. The cloud looked ominous, hung in the sky for awhile, and then about an hour later, it had all dissipated.
Thank you all so much for putting Water Wizard in the TT today. I appreciate your support - visits, comments, favs! Wishing all a good weekend!
Big weather coming in, it appears. Lovely, how the light shines on those clouds, with the color variations of the sky. I like the subtle HDR, too. Not obvious, at all. What a serene place, nicely captured.
I love the dark muted colours in the sea - lake? I see its a lake, of course! Great processing to bring out the sun-kissed clouds and the foam on the waves! fav
Very interesting sky.
I have been really impressed with some of the very subtle HDR landscape pics around recently, especially yours and Eric's @ericdibosco sunrise shots. I haven't really tried bracketing but you guys are making me want to get out there and try it!
@leonbuys83 Thanks, Leon, for taking the time to check out the Flickr ones! I almost always use Flickr to figure out how to improve a shot and appreciate your kind comment!
@jgpittenger Thanks Jane...I feel like I should have noticed the junk on the sand before posting originally! What surprised me is no one commented on the weird vertical wisp of cloud to the right of the main large cloud. It's driving me nuts but there's nothing I can do about it as it's too integrated in too many places. To me, it looks like a processing problem instead of the natural cloud that it is.
Oh what an awesome sunset love the massive cloud and blue tones in your photo Taffy, I'm enjoying your sunset photos!
Great to have some cool sunset shots before you head back to the city!
You already know how much I love this one! I am so glad that people like Sally @salza take note of how gentle HDR can be handled. I think many people simply regard HDR as that hard, well delineated images, which works well for urban scenes and cityscapes, but not necessarily for landscapes.
