It's after 1:00 a.m. so want to start by thanking you all for getting the subway shot to PP today. Exciting to see it there! And your comments on the bakery trade between photographs and sweets were very fun! I'll catch up tomorrow on comments.
This beautiful fountain sits at the center of the gardens. Junko and I were there for an arts exhibit called Women's Journeys in Fiber, created by one of Junko's friends.
Now it's time for sleep!
And I thought we had a total loss in terms of outdoor photography today, yet you turn out this beauty! Wonderful depiction of time of evening! Looking forward to your studio shots of the umbrellas, too.
Well, it must be 3 AM there now, so I certainly hope you are asleep by now! ;-)) This is a beautiful shot with the spray of the water blending into the night sky, and being reflected in the fountain...
Your choice of a three second exposure has created a nice balance between the stillness and tranquility of the lake and the dynamic action of the fountain... excellent.
Beautiful capture. We have a lot of lakes & ponds with fountains in them where I live. With daylight savings now ended I was going to try and take some evening shots of them. I hope they come out 1/2 as nice as yours!
@radiogirl Just got home from seeing it. Yes, it's great! We saw it in 3-D which made it a little more worth going to the movies instead of waiting to watch on TV. Matt Damon is great in it, and there's quite an amazing supporting cast. The time frame is about 3 years but they handle it really well. Great scenery too. I think it's worthy of going to the movie theater to see.
Love the mirrored shapes of the fountain and the tree, fab composition. Lovely, warm, subtle hues too.
Taffy I heard you went to see The Martian, did you like it??
I'm going to see it tomorrow.
