From the Botanic Garden walk yesterday, processed today using Topaz Textures and Lightroom.
So excited to see one of the butterflies on TT -- many thanks for your supporting comments and favs.
Don't forget to vote for March-Town2016! Voting ends tonight.
this is going to sound really bizarre but it looks like there is a tiny kangaroo sitting on the branch at the back of this image..(.i said it was going to sound bizarre)...lovely shot and processing...fav for the roo!
@maree_sanderson@jamibann You two both saw the branch shaped like a kangaroo and commented on it. I loved that by total accident, the background branch conveyed a tiny creature -- thanks for noticing and commenting. But alas, it was only the branch.
Sorry I am so behind again. I have missed you and sure you have not missed a beat. So tired so need to get back for more labs as my Vit D is very low. SIL is in a nursing home close to home and in bed unable to walk or stand for 8 weeks today with terminal cancer. Hubby and I are there about 4 times a week, have bought her what she has wanted or needed. She has friends in the area and another brother out of town who is there once a week. She is leaving behind her 13 year old son. Her friend will be raising him out of town once he graduates elementary school in June. My last Dr and still my hubby's Dr got off work on March 10, went home and onto the treadmill and then laid down and did not wake up again. Had a heart attack at the age of 55. He was loved by many but too hard to access for me so left to find another Dr 2 years ago. A huge loss for that practice and all the patients and his family and girlfriend of 20 years, his soul mate. Our 10 year old car broke down at the dealership 3 weeks ago after we signed the lease on our new car. We got $4,500 for it and left. Found out two days later that someone working at the dealership was interested in it so took it in the shop to check it out and white and blue smoke poured out of it. Under the hood the head on the engine cracked so it was worth nothing but for parts. Someone said to play the lottery. Life has been crazy. One day at a time.
I hope you are doing well. No time to truly catch up. Plan a week off the beginning of May. Need time to just enjoy life a bit. Take care and nice to see your photos.
