Lensbaby and Architecture Don't Mix Well

If only there were six-word story, this would look planned. But, I decided to use my lensbaby for some of our time while at the Bahai Temple (see photos by @jyokota @pamknowler and @rosiekerr -- and probably others over the next few days!). I found that most of the shots were only worthy of deletion. I kind of liked this, but not as much as I think I would have using a straight wide angle lens instead.
Interesting and different, but I'd prefer your usual style.

It is interesting and different as Marnie says. I like the oval bokeh at the sides too. Nice image.

I have a thing for abstract architectural b&w and this kind of fits that so i like it!

Like this shot, haven't used my lens baby for such a long time so this reminds me ... Love lensbaby shots and this is fabulous

I like the patterns created but it does make my eyes go a bit funny too, lol!

Good for you, to try something different! I do like your usual style better, but this aligns very nicely. Fun to see it through a lens baby. :-)

Interesting shot but it makes me a bit dizzy.

Looks pretty good to me. Love the contrasts and patterns.

I like this. The effect on the left of the picture perhaps a bit too much for my eyes, about right for me on the right. I am fascinated by the way you lined the shot up so perfectly which would fit with the designer's concept of how it should look rather than how most people would encounter the staircase.

@helenhall Thanks Helen -- I agree with you about the wonky look from the blur, and also that the staircase was designed so intricately. It really would be worth photographing again without using the lensbaby.
