A Tall Ship Goes By by taffy

A Tall Ship Goes By

Excitement on Beaver Island yesterday when reports of a three-mast large sailing vessel in the harbor spread. Later that evening, a friend from "down the beach" called to tell me to look outside and there it was on the distant horizon flying along under full sail. Even though far away, it was an impressive sight.
Stunning!!

Fabulous.

I must go down to the seas again,
To the lonely sea and the sky
And all I ask is a tall ship
And a start to steer her by.

@pamknowler Thanks Pam. I've gotten really behind in commenting between working on the house to get it ready for fall, school starting up so a lot of work related to SchoolRise, my week of testing the camera out, and now friends are visiting. I was VERY excited to see this photo get this attention -- really reinforcing!

Great Image except for the reflextions of the sun in the water on camera left. Kind of distracts from the ship and that perfect straight line of the horizon.
