Back in Chicago for a day after a wonderful family gathering to honor my niece for her bat mitzvah. Amazing accomplishment while being a great mom to 2 kids under the age of 3 and still working as an anesthesiologist. Married to my nephew -- we marvel at our good fortune to have her in our family! Of course, food was a major part of the weekend.
Junko and I leave for China on Tuesday for our relatively last minute "wow, cheap airfares, should we do it?" trip (photographing we hope in Xi'an and Guilin/Yangshuo). Very excited but unlikely to be able to post or comment until our return. Have a great few weeks and thanks as always for your comments on my earlier postings.
