Thank you so much for your lovely comments and favs on the two shots I posted yesterday from this photo shoot while Junko & I were in China. Here are two more from the same shoot -- the light kept changing which meant the rays and the mist had a dozen looks over the course of about 30 minutes. Really a remarkable place to shoot. Funny story about the pano I posted here yesterday. I'd also posted the same one in my Flickr album. Someone wrote a comment that said that they recognized the spot immediately and even the light, as they had recently been there photographing. Then, they looked at the date and realized he (or she) had been there on the same morning as Junko and me! There were about 30 photographers up there, but I thought that was one of the smallest of the small world happenings that I could imagine!
Alternative view in extras album (and yesterday's pano has the full background of where this was): http://365project.org/taffy/the-also-ran-ph/2016-11-06
@888rachel Thanks Rachel, for this and for all your visits and favs today. Really appreciate it. BTW, my niece is likely to be in Brisbane this summer on a school exchange program. Is it okay if I give you her your email address? She's a junior at Lewis & Clark so would be a rising senior then.
@888rachel Actually, she's college -- so 21. But I think she'd enjoy meeting you. I'll set up an email introduction on gmail once we know for sure when she's going. I know it's sometime in the summer (our summer, that is).
Oh, BTW, It's on the curated page!
Another FAV. Great shot...and your edit is really nice. Not to cranky, and the light rays are fantastic!
