Throughout Yangshuo, red lanterns hung everywhere, especially in the small pathways in the older villages. One evening, we even had a portrait session in one of the towns, with the gentleman responsible for lighting the lanterns each night.

I've always loved these lanterns. My parents used to have some decorating the patio when they had a cook-out. Sadly they didn't survive the years. But these are lovely.
Beaut full colors against the desaturated background and I'm glad there are three main ones. I'm loving your China shot even if the atmosphere that is so magical is d/ t pollution
@jgpittenger The pollution worked for us in some shots, but really was frustrating most of the time. I think it has to be hard on the folks who live there all winter with all the burning of fossil fuels making it worse.
