We went for a walk on the beach and happened on a wedding. This was one of the bridesmaids, I think. Just to the right of her was a huge tent and dozens of people dancing and eating.
Here's the scene just to her right: http://365project.org/taffy/special-photos/2016-12-23
LOVE this. How cool to have nothing in the image but the bridesmaid, the beach, the sea and the sky. And how cool to know what was going on just alongside!!! Super capture.
A beautifully composed image , and beautiful hues and tones throughout , without the knowledge of the nearby crowd and frivolity this could suggest a very different story . A huge fav :)
How interesting that you isolated this shot from the scene. Before I read you description this scene looks to me as if she had walked to the oceans edge to breath the sea air and contemplate a while. I like your use of open space, lovely shot.
Before I read your description, I had a completely different interpretation of the scene. I like how you've created a sense of space. The tones are beautiful too.
So potent in its feeling. Would you consider doing a content aware move?there is something about her seeming to be just about to walk out of the frame that is unsettling...but maybe that makes it more powerful. I'm not sure
Or maybe she didn't and she is wondering when it will be her turn.
She'd love to have that photo. I wonder if there's any way to easily find out whose wedding it was. whose
