Another image from NYC, while standing on the Manhattan Bridge with Michael and Junko. I couldn't fit my wide angle lens through the hole in the fencing so was very limited to the angle I could shoot. This is not the shot I wanted (take a look at pano-context in Junko's shot posted March 3 - http://365project.org/jyokota/365/2017-03-03 ), but it's the best one I could come up with given the circumstances.
Thanks for your kind comments on my dancing jellyfish!
Lovely colours and cleanness. I'm smiling at the poster words too - obviously the jellyfish from yesterday have been out advertising. "We're not scientists but we totally got space!"
Beautiful image with that gorgeous light!! It really pops on black!! Shame you couldn't get your lens through the hole but you ended up with a fabulous image!! Fav!
I like the rows of skycrapers and two more things has raised my curiosity : the smart adversiting ban and the absence of traffic jam. Very stunning capture of the great apple.
Hahaha, I can visualise all of you trying to get shots through a hole in the fence. I am too familiar with the limations and contortions necessary in most places. Wonderful shot with the well-earned pov though, wonderfully clear and sharp. NYC must be a photographers' dream place, especially with a knowledgeable local.
@golftragic It was pretty funny -- I couldn't angle my camera at all...Junko changed lenses despite the wind (brave woman) and Michael was using a narrower one. I was worried about too much dust getting into my sensor but as it turned out, the sensor already needs some cleaning!
@padlock @stray_shooter Amazingly it was Thursday afternoon, just before 6:00! I would have thought there would be bumper to bumper traffic then.
