After an overnight flight, we ( @jyokota and I along with husbands) have arrived in Iceland amidst snow and sleet and totally gray skies, checked into our hotel for the one night before leaving with our guide, and spent the day wandering about the capital -- a very charming small city, that I imagine is quite colorful on a sunny day. This is the main church - Hallgrímskirkja - in a town square. It's a very impressive structure that you can see from the outskirts of town. Heading to sleep -- feeling very successful having simply stayed awake most of the day and into evening! Will not be commenting much, but will try posting when Internet is available -- apologies in advance!

Very good to hear you all arrived safe and sound, looking forward to seeing photos. Love this shot, the church is built to resemble organ pipes, or so my imagination says. Striking architecture whatever.
Love the wide shot of this unusual-looking church! It does resemble a rocket ship. Hope the elements allow for views of the Northern Lights during your stay!
